Van Halen Remasters (24-192)

As usual, some people have been complaining about defects here and there, but the recently (accidentally?) released Van Halen remasters in 24bit/192Hz are fabulous. Apparently, HD tracks accidentally released the higher resolution files which are – and there is absolutely no doubt about it – very different from (and much, much better than) their lower-resolution 24bit/96hz  counterparts. The higher resolution files, and that is speculation only, were apparently meant for the vinyl reissues.

I don’t really care, jumped on them … and have been back in the late 70s since those tracks hit my Marantz-DAC!

Highly recommended.
Rock on!

Forget the Tokyo Dome concert. It sucks! Royally!
