The only consistently and probably also the only consistently excellent album Aerosmith ever put out was Rocks (Columbia, 1976). It is not only their best album but also another mainstay in my collection. If CDs could be worn out, only bits and bytes would have been left of my copy today.

“Rocks” is a definite improvement over its predecessor, Toys in the Attic (Columbia, 1975), and in opposition to what a few other people have criticized, namely the quality of the material, I think this is an album just chock full of great rocking tunes. In short, this album kicks ass! Give it a spin again if you haven’t for a while.
