As far as I recall, I was one of the very first Germans to join Facebook, that time with the help of some 9rules buddies – when the 9rules network was actually still something worth talking about – that got me into some American university network so I could join up. That was quite some time before they opened up the network in, what, 2006? Since then, it has completely lost its appeal to me. Yes, it helped me stay in touch with many people but, since this is the age of the Internet, those interested have a thousand other routes if they want to stay in touch. So do I. This site is one of them.
