Led Zeppelin HD

The Led Zeppelin HD downloads in 24bit/96kHz are … fabulous.

The depressing thing is that I have to now get rid of every other release/reissue/reissue of reissues I have. And that’s a shitload of Led Zeppelin. If you have the possibility to both download and play the hi-res files, give them a spin. Now!

I would also like to go on record stating that the discussion we had at school way back when about Led Zeppelin or Judas Priest (replace Judas Priest with any other hard rock/heavy metal band you can think of) being better/etc. has been rendered totally mute.

My house is vibrating.

Carry me back, baby, where I come from.
It’s been a long time, been a long time …

P.S.: Thanks to Art Ludwig for introducing me to these giants WAY back when, at a party, late at night, a hundred times over. And over.

  1. Glad to see you come to your senses, even if it did take 30+ years 😉

  2. Oh, I’ve been with the program ever since Art introduced me to (=played that LP endlessly) IV when I arrived in DK. Previously, Led Zeppelin had not really been on my radar all that much, probably because of my age when IV was released. When in 9th grade, the music just hit me in the right spot. I just needed 30+ years to admit to it. That whole Zeppelin/Priest debate we had going was just too good not to ride it out until it died down ages later. 🙂
