Jazz Biopics

Two new jazz “biopics” debut around the same time and both appear to be more or less flawed, but I’d still like to see them, especially because of the actors, Ethan Hawke in “Born to be Blue” portraying Chet Baker and Don Cheadle portraying Miles Davis in “Miles Ahead”.

Both films are said to use composite characters and take lots of liberties with the events portrayed, but if I read the reviews correctly, both leads are at the top of their game.
