Well, this is a first. Just for the hell of it, a first mobile post from downtown Karlsruhe where I am enjoying a series of cocktails before “hell weeks” (12 tests plus endless evenings of correcting) start on Monday.

As it happens, we’ve got a nice cozy place here that, for the past few years, has had a “happy hour” incentive program running that – of course – I’ve heavily participated in since they got the show on the road.

While writing this I am – again – listening to Paula Morelenbaum’s albums, Berimbaum and Telecoteco, two albums that are regular plays on each and every system I have. I love those two albums… they are loungy, they might definitely not be everyone’s cup of tea, but… hey, they rock my simplified world.

Btw: While writing this post I noticed that all of these Android apps know absolutely nothing about grammar, style and language. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Android is the lowest common denominator and knows something like 200 words.

And it corrects stuff constantly that is, in fact, correct.
Screw that.
Welcome to the 21st century.
It’s going to implode with a whimper.
